Jungle Bungy Jump

Jungle Bungy Jump has run bungee jumps from a 60-metre tower over a jungle-fringed lake off Thepprasit Soi 9 since 1989 — Pattaya’s original bungy operation, though it now trades as Xbungy / Pattaya Bungy Jump. Grounds entry is free; the jump itself costs around 2,500 THB. It’s open daily 09:00-18:00, with the last jump slot around 17:30.

The jump

The platform sits roughly 60 metres above a lake ringed by forest, high enough that the approach alone gets your pulse up before you’re anywhere near the edge. Staff fit a full body-and-leg harness and run through the safety checks before every jump, following New Zealand-designed bungy safety standards. Jumpers need to weigh between 40kg and 150kg; if you’d rather skip the freefall but still want the adrenaline, the site also runs a human slingshot (40-100kg range) that launches you upward instead.

Watch out: If you’re searching for this place by its older name, look for “Xbungy” or “Pattaya Bungy Jump” online — it’s the same site and the same tower, just rebranded, at the end of Thepprasit Soi 9 in Nong Prue.

Getting there

The site is at the end of Thepprasit Soi 9, off Thepprasit Road in South Pattaya’s Nong Prue area, reachable by car, motorbike taxi or songthaew from central Pattaya. Many jump packages booked through tour operators include hotel pickup, which is worth it given the site’s slightly awkward position at the end of a residential soi.

Insider Tip: Go earlier in the day if you can. The platform gets sun-baked by early afternoon, and weekend crowds from day-trip vans mean a longer wait for your turn on the tower.
