Siam Country Club

Siam Country Club (Thai: สยามคันทรีคลับ) is a multi-course golf campus in Bang Lamung near Pattaya, not a single 18-hole strip. Official materials list the Old Course (opened 1971; Honda LPGA Thailand host), Plantation (27 holes), Waterside (opened 2014), and Rolling Hills (opened 2020), with a separate Siam Country Club Bangkok layout closer to the capital. This attraction page is the visitor-facing entry for the Pattaya complex, pinned near the historic Old Course area.

Four Pattaya layouts (and one Bangkok cousin)

Old Course. The historic flagship. Official copy emphasises mature trees, strategic bunkering, and fast greens, with repeated Honda LPGA Thailand hosting. Purists often want this round first.

Plantation. A 27-hole hillside product with elevation, wind, and deep bunkering in club marketing. Iconic triple-green talk shows up in brand copy. Ask which 18-hole combination you are playing.

Waterside. Opened 2014. Softer, resort-style framing with lakes and open fairways. Often the more walkable / player-friendly ask on the campus.

Rolling Hills. Newest Pattaya addition (2020), Schmidt-Curley associated on the official site, with a signature “Wall of Death” bunker complex called out on the par-5 15th.

Siam Country Club Bangkok is a different Toby Cobb / Coore & Crenshaw–associated layout on the same brand site. A Pattaya tee time does not cover it.

Dedicated clubhouses, Japanese / international / Thai dining, pro shops, and driving ranges are marketed per course. Confirm which clubhouse your tee uses.

Booking, fees, and caddies

Use the official tee-time enquiry and confirm the full package for your layout and date. Tee-time reservations are expected. Caddie standards are part of the club’s reputation in golf-operator copy. Still confirm language needs and tipping norms when you book.

Insider Tip: If you are stacking two rounds, Old Course conditioning and Plantation’s 27-hole loops are different days out. Ask reservations which combination fits your handicap and schedule rather than booking blind.

Watch out: Brand search results flip between Pattaya and Bangkok properties. Read the address line. Bang Lamung / Pong for Pattaya; the Bangkok course has its own contact block on siamcountryclub.com.

Getting there and nearby

Official framing: roughly 20–25 minutes from central Pattaya, and about 75–90 minutes from Suvarnabhumi in calm traffic via Motorway 7. Holiday weekends and Friday outbound traffic erase those estimates. Leave a buffer if your outbound flight the same evening sits at Suvarnabhumi: Motorway 7 back toward Bangkok is unreliable after 15:00 on Sundays.

Each course markets its own clubhouse dining and practice facilities. If you are hosting mixed handicaps, Waterside is often the softer ask; low handicappers chasing LPGA conditioning usually push for Old Course first. Soft lodging: Agoda Pattaya.
