Pattaya Sheep Farm
ฟาร์มแกะพัทยา
What started as a standalone sheep farm outside Pattaya is now the sheep-and-farm-animal zone of a larger complex trading as Family Park Pattaya. The core draw hasn’t changed: a paddock of woolly sheep you can hand-feed with bottles bought at the gate, plus rabbits, goats, and ponies in adjoining enclosures. It’s set on flat pasture in Nong Pla Lai, about 20-30 minutes by car from central Pattaya, and it’s aimed squarely at families with young kids rather than anyone chasing a big-ticket wildlife encounter.
Sheep here are used to visitors and come straight to the fence for a bottle, which is really the whole appeal — there’s no show, no schedule, just pens of animals that will eat out of a toddler’s hand without flinching. Staff hand out feed and bottles at the entrance to the zone, and the sheep, rabbit, and goat enclosures sit close enough together that you can do a full loop in well under an hour. Paths are flat and stroller-friendly, and the pace is unhurried compared with the rest of the park.
Insider Tip: Go straight to the sheep zone first thing after opening — animals are hungriest and most active early, before the midday heat, and it beats the queue for feed bottles that builds once tour groups arrive.
Watch out: pricing has shifted since the farm’s rebrand and expansion, and what you pay now depends on which zones you buy into. The sheep farm’s own published rate runs to roughly 280 THB per person with animal shows included — noticeably more than the old flat sheep-only ticket — so check current pricing before you commit, and be clear on whether a bundle you’re offered includes the wider park’s separately ticketed tiger, elephant, and crocodile zones or just the farm.
Shade is limited across most of the paddocks, so bring a hat and water if you’re visiting midday. The zone works well as a short, low-effort stop rather than a full day out — pair it with Nong Nooch Tropical Garden or The Horseshoe Point equestrian park if you want to fill out a countryside day trip away from the beach.
