B.N. Farm
ไร่ บี.เอ็น.
B.N. Farm is a working highland produce farm in Khao Kho, not the botanical garden older listings describe — it grows cool-season strawberries, lychee, avocado, persimmon and macadamia alongside vegetables like baby carrots and Japanese cucumber, sold fresh from an on-site shop. General entry is free; the seasonal cosmos and daisy flower fields, open roughly November through February, charge 20 THB per person toward upkeep. It sits in Khaem Son subdistrict, Khao Kho district, at the elevation that makes Phetchabun’s highlands cool enough to grow crops that don’t survive lowland Thailand.
Rows of flowering fields sit near the entrance, planted with cosmos and daisies that peak in the cool season and draw the farm’s main crowds for photos. Across the road, a second cosmos field pairs with a small coffee shop at the parking area. Beyond the flowers, the working side of the farm sells its produce direct — fresh fruit and vegetables by the kilo, dried fruit and vegetable snacks, and homemade ice cream, all sourced from what’s actually growing on site rather than trucked in.
Insider Tip: Go for the produce, not just the photos — the dried-fruit and vegetable snacks make better souvenirs than most roadside shops in Khao Kho, and prices track what’s in season.
The farm is pet-friendly and has free parking, but public transport doesn’t reach it — from Khao Kho town, take Highway 12 toward Khaem Son, then turn onto the Khaem Son-Sado Phong road for the final 3 km. It pairs well with the Khao Kho Upland Agricultural Experiment Station or Khao Kho Royal Palace, both on the same highland loop; see the Phetchabun hub for the rest of the Khao Kho circuit. Bring water and sun protection even in cool season — the flower fields have little shade at midday.
