Wanlapa Farm Community Enterprise Agrotourism

Wanlapa Farm is a small community-enterprise farm in Khao Phra Ngam subdistrict, about 15 km from central Lop Buri town. The “community enterprise” (wisahakit chumchon) tag means it’s a registered farmer-owned cooperative rather than a private tourist park — profits and activities stay tied to the local farming community. Unlike most agrotourism stops in the province, its specialty is horses: the farm runs riding lessons for adults and children, trail rides through the surrounding countryside, and equine therapy (occupational therapy on horseback) for children with special needs, with a maximum rider weight of 75 kg.

Beyond the stables, it runs as a working smallholding — free-range buffalo, chickens, geese and ducks, seasonal Riceberry rice paddies, and egg collection and salted-egg-making demonstrations that visitors can join. Past visitors describe a full day of activities built around kids: horseback riding, tree planting, rope climbing, sand play, a swimming pool, and water buffalo bathing. A small restaurant serves home-style Thai food, and farm-stay accommodation is available for those who want to overnight rather than visit as a day trip from Lop Buri.
