Wat Phloi Sangvaranirand

Daily 08:00-17:00
Entry Free

Central to the temple is the grand statue of Phra Sarasuthi Muninat, a large Buddha image sheltered by Naga hood (Naga Prok), measuring an impressive 19 metres in height with lap span of 10 metres. This majestic Buddha image is encircled by Phaya Naga Rajas, notably Pu Thana Mun Naga Raja and Mae Ya Ketupathum Nakini, considered protectors of the Buddha. Additionally, the temple honours Luang Pu Mucharin, revered as a Phaya Naga Raja safeguarding the Buddha, and Phraya Dam Sansiri Chatranakaraja. The entrance of Wat Phloi Sangvaranirand is adorned with statues of facing dragons, symbolising prosperity and sanctity. These dragons are believed to bring blessings and protection to Buddhists and visitors who come to pay homage and seek blessings at the temple. For further details contact, Tel (66)9 2392 2104
