A one-hour beach ride on Kamala Beach in Phuket suits strong intermediate and advanced riders more than complete beginners. Group rides cap at 8 riders, with a licensed Thai guide and full equipment included.
The Experience: riders walk, trot, and canter along the sand at their own pace, with an English-speaking guide. Before leaving the stable, anyone riding at intermediate or advanced level has to show they can control their horse independently. Uncontrolled riding isn’t permitted once the group is out on the beach. The hour covers a stretch of Kamala’s shoreline with open sea views.
A licensed guide, bottled water, insurance, and riding equipment, helmet and boots, are included; hotel pickup and drop-off are not, and the exact meeting point only gets confirmed by email after booking. Riders must weigh under 85 kg (187 lbs), and the fee isn’t refundable if that limit is exceeded on the day. Children under 3 can join for free sitting with a parent, provided combined weight stays under 65 kg.
