Chiang Mai Half-Day Elephant Sanctuary & Waterfall Tour

A half-day visit to Joy Elephant Sanctuary near Chiang Mai is built around watching elephants rather than riding them, with a waterfall stop and a craft session added on. It runs 6 to 7 hours for up to 48 people, lunch included.

The Experience: guests change into traditional Karen clothing before helping prepare food for the elephants and observing them at a safe distance as they move through their normal routine, no riding, no bathing, just watching. A break at a nearby waterfall follows, with herbal tea served before the group settles into crafting a small Thai handmade souvenir to take home.
