Jungle Kitchen cooking classes take you back to times where food was prepared and cooked using handmade tools and old-style techniques.
Although just minutes from Fishermans Village, the school setting is a world away from the busy streets around the coast.
Guests cook at an 8 metre long cooking station with the sounds of nature and panoramic views of Koh Phangan. The ethos of the class is to keep alive knowledge of traditional cooking methods and to use the same tools and techniques which were widely used in a Thai kitchen over 50 years and more ago.
Class finishes with dinner in the gardens where the atmosphere is often like a dinner party.
