Splendid Hotel Khao Yai is a four-star hotel on Kudkhla-Pansuek Road in Mu Si, part of Pak Chong District rather than the district’s central town. Primo Piazza is a 430-metre walk; Scenical World is about 4.7 km, and most of the region’s sights need road transport to reach.

Rooms & Facilities

Seven room categories cover a wide range: Deluxe Studio, Montana Deluxe and Splendid Deluxe rooms are all 40 sqm, the Rock Suite is 60 sqm and the Foresta Duplex 70 sqm — each takes two adults plus one child. Step up to the 104 sqm Floral Family Suite or 160 sqm President Suite and that becomes four adults plus a child. Bed setups (twin, double and sofa-bed combinations) vary by category.

Three pools handle the water side of things — a garden pool, a fourth-floor sky pool and a semi-outdoor Aqua pool — plus a dedicated children’s zone. Add Aramis Restaurant, a fitness room, a kids’ room, pool table, foosball, table tennis, free Wi-Fi and parking, a 24-hour desk, a lift and meeting or banquet space, and there’s little reason to leave the grounds on a rainy day.

Insider Tip: Plan each day’s destination before you set out. Khao Yai’s attractions sit far apart, and “near Khao Yai” doesn’t mean a walkable park gate or a central hotel strip.

Good to Know

This suits families and groups after bigger suites, several pools and space for kids, and it doubles as a road-trip base for Primo Piazza and the rest of Mu Si. It’s a poor fit without a car or a driver on call. There’s a lift, but if step-free access matters, confirm the specific room with the hotel rather than assuming every floor works the same way — and treat the listed Wi-Fi as convenient rather than guaranteed-fast.

Pros
  • Seven room and suite categories from 40 to 160 sqm
  • Three pools and a dedicated children’s zone
  • Kids’ room, indoor games and family suites
  • Restaurant, fitness room, Wi-Fi and parking
Cons
  • Most attractions need a car or driver
  • No single dependable distance to a specific park entrance
  • Confirm accessibility needs directly — a lift doesn’t guarantee every room suits every guest

Is Splendid Hotel Khao Yai suitable for families?
Yes. Family suites, a kids' room, a children's pool zone and indoor games are all here, though how many kids fit depends on the room and rate you book.
Does the hotel have swimming pools?
Yes, there are three pools — a garden pool, a fourth-floor sky pool and a semi-outdoor pool — plus a separate children's zone.
Can guests walk to Khao Yai attractions?
Primo Piazza is about 430 metres away, but Scenical World and most of the region's attractions need a car or arranged transport — this hotel isn't in central Pak Chong town.
