Villa Haineu is a five-bedroom beach villa inside Dhevatara Cove, a gated estate at Lipa Noi on Koh Samui’s west coast. Its pavilions are built in an Ayutthaya-inspired style around water features and gardens, and the 19-metre pool sits just above the sand. It sleeps 10, with breakfast and a staff team, and the airport is 30 km away.
Five king suites
Every bedroom has a king bed, a TV, a walk-in dressing area and a large bathroom with a freestanding tub. One is on the ground floor, which helps if someone in the group can’t manage stairs, and four are upstairs. Some bathrooms open onto outdoor showers set in small private gardens.
Downstairs, the lounge has vaulted ceilings and big sofas, the dining table seats 12, and the kitchen has a breakfast bar. The pool measures 19 by 5.5 metres and is 1.84 metres at its deepest, with a built-in jacuzzi, a shallow area for children and a waterfall. A barbecue, an outdoor sala for eight and a pool table complete the setup.
Insider Tip: Ask the chef to shop before you arrive. Pre-arrival grocery shopping costs a handling fee, but the nearest 7-Eleven is 2.6 km away and supermarkets are further, so a stocked kitchen on the first night saves a drive.
