Natai Beach
หาดนาใต้
Natai Beach (หาดนาใต้) is a long Andaman strand in Khok Kloi, Takua Thung — the first quiet mainland beach many travellers hit after crossing Sarasin Bridge from Phuket. It belongs to Phang Nga, not to Phuket island and not to the Khao Lak strip an hour further north.
The draw is space: kilometres of sand, sparse building between luxury properties, and sunsets without Patong density. Public access points sit between resort frontages; bring water and sun cover because shade and shops thin out quickly away from hotel zones. Seafood and beach-club dining cluster around the better-known resorts rather than a continuous promenade.
Watch out: Do not assume Khao Lak transfer times if your hotel is on Natai — you are still in southern Phang Nga near the Phuket channel. Monsoon months can bring stronger shore break; swim with care.
Insider Tip: Use Natai as a calm airport-adjacent base, then day-trip to Samet Nangshe Viewpoint or a Phang Nga Bay boat rather than packing every night into Phuket traffic.
