It’s a municipal park built around the reservoir rather than an amusement facility, and that’s worth knowing before you plan a stop expecting splash pads for the kids.

What’s actually here is straightforward: a large irrigation tank ringed by walking paths, benches under shade trees, and a restaurant serving lakeside meals. The reservoir itself supplies water to surrounding farmland in Khlong Hat district, and the view opens onto low hills on the far shore — Sa Kaeo’s border districts run right up against Cambodia, and the terrain here has that quiet, agricultural, near-border feel rather than a manicured tourist-park polish.
