Tomorrowland is coming to Asia, and it picked Thailand. From 11–13 December 2026, the Belgian electronic music festival takes over Wisdom Valley, an open site in the hills inland from Pattaya in Chonburi. It is the festival’s first full-scale edition in Asia, organised with the Thai government and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, with more than 50,000 people a day expected across six stages.
Every pass is gone. Hotel packages sold out when they went on sale on 28 February 2026, and festival passes sold out within hours of the worldwide sale on 7 March. This guide covers the official routes that are still open, how to reach Wisdom Valley, and where to stay if you are going.
Quick answer: can I still go? Only with an existing pass. The official routes left are the Waiting List in your Tomorrowland account, which offers passes resold through the official Exchange Desk until about a week before the festival, and Tomorrowland’s official travel partners, which sell passes bundled with travel. Avoid every other seller. If you hold a pass, base yourself in Pattaya, book a refundable room now, and plan your transport to Khao Mai Kaew before you arrive (getting there).
Got a pass? Lock in the room first. With 50,000+ people a day heading for one site, Pattaya’s rooms fill early, and Pattaya is about 30 minutes from the venue against 90 minutes or more from Bangkok. What Is Tomorrowland?
Tomorrowland started in 2005 in Boom, Belgium, founded by brothers Manu and Michiel Beers, and now runs two festivals in Europe and one in Brazil. It is known for themed stage sets the size of buildings and line-ups that cover everything from big-room EDM to underground techno. The 2026 theme, Consciencia, is the same one used in Belgium this year.
Thailand was chosen over several other Asian countries, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The Pattaya area works for a festival this size because of the hotel stock and the motorway link to Bangkok’s airports.
The Line-Up
The full line-up is out: more than 100 artists, over 20 of them Thai. Headliners include Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia, with Afrojack, Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alok, Lost Frequencies, Vini Vici, Artbat, Kölsch, Lilly Palmer and Netsky. Venue: Wisdom Valley
Wisdom Valley sits in Khao Mai Kaew, Bang Lamung District, east of Pattaya city among hills, water and open fields. It is about 30 minutes by road from central Pattaya and roughly 90 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The site has six stages:
- Mainstage: the centrepiece, a themed set built for this edition with screens, lasers and pyrotechnics.
- CORE: making its Asian debut; at other editions it hosts techno and melodic house.
- FREEDOM: also an Asian debut, with its own production design.
- Three more stages: designed for the Thailand edition.
December falls in Chonburi’s dry season. Expect daytime highs of about 30–32°C and evenings in the low to mid 20s, with rain unlikely.
Tickets and Prices
Pre-registration opened on 8 January 2026. Hotel packages went on sale on 28 February and sold out that day; the worldwide sale on 7 March sold every festival pass. These were the face values, including VAT and service fees:

Comfort (VIP) areas have their own bars, a fast-lane entrance, an elevated Mainstage viewing area, bottle service, charging stations and dedicated toilets. Each account could buy up to 8 passes, and every pass must be personalised to the holder. Passes come as a bracelet: posted in a Treasure Case (570 THB within Thailand, 1,150 THB worldwide) or collected free at the festival box office.
Hotel Packages
The official hotel packages bundled a Full Madness Pass with a hotel in Pattaya, Chonburi or Rayong (bronze, silver or gold tiers), daily breakfast, free daily shuttles to the site, a souvenir bag and a Treasure Case. They are sold out, and the Exchange Desk does not cover them.
Official Resale and Travel Partners
- Waiting List: pass holders could register passes on the official Exchange Desk until 30 August 2026. Those passes are offered to people on the Waiting List, and sellers can be matched until one week before the festival.
- Official travel partners: since 8 March 2026, Tomorrowland’s authorised partners have sold passes bundled with travel, country by country (in Thailand: Festival Ticket Hub, Proplugin and Vibes Asia). The full list is on the official sales-info pages. Partner customers receive their bracelet from the partner, not as an e-ticket.
Watch out: passes are personalised bracelets linked to a Tomorrowland account, so “spare tickets” sold on social media or resale sites are at best a gamble and often a scam. The organiser can cancel passes that are not personalised to the holder.
How to Get There
From Bangkok
- By car or taxi: about 90 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport via Motorway 7, longer on festival days.
- By bus: frequent buses run from Bangkok’s Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai) to Pattaya; continue to the venue by taxi or ride-hailing. Allow 2–3 hours in total.
From Pattaya
The venue is about 30 minutes from central Pattaya by car. Grab and Bolt both operate in Pattaya, but expect surge pricing and long waits at closing time with 50,000 people leaving at once. Agree a return pickup with a private driver in advance, or check the official app nearer the date for any standalone shuttle.
Flying In
Suvarnabhumi (BKK) has the most international connections. Don Mueang (DMK) handles budget airlines. U-Tapao (UTP), south of Pattaya, is the closest airport to the venue but has a limited schedule.
Where to Stay
With 50,000+ people a day heading for one site, rooms around Pattaya fill early. Your main options:
- Central and North Pattaya: the most hotels, at every budget, about 30 minutes from the venue. Hotels near Sukhumvit Road and Pattaya 3rd Road are on the east side of the city, closer to the road out to Khao Mai Kaew.
- Jomtien and Na Jomtien: quieter beaches south of the centre, with more resort-style hotels; budget 35–45 minutes each way.
- Bangkok: only if you are combining the festival with city time. A 90-minute-plus drive each way for three nights is hard work.

What to Expect at the Festival
The production is what sets Tomorrowland apart. The Mainstage is a themed structure built for the edition, with integrated screens, pyrotechnics, lasers and fireworks.
Beyond the music:
- Food: Tomorrowland curates its food vendors; expect international and Thai food on site.
- Payments: Tomorrowland’s other editions are cashless, with credit loaded onto your bracelet. Check the official app before you travel for how payments work in Thailand.
- Costumes: dressing up is part of the culture, from glitter to full fantasy outfits.
- ID: the festival is 20+, so carry your passport.
Combine with a Thailand Trip
December is peak season in Thailand, with dry weather across most of the country. A few ways to extend the trip:
- Before the festival: spend a few days in Bangkok for temples, street food and rooftop bars. It is about two hours from the venue.
- After the festival: EDC Thailand runs one week later, 18–20 December, at Rhythm Park in Phuket, about 80 minutes’ flight from Bangkok. Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, home of the Full Moon Party, are also an easy hop south.
- New Year’s Eve: the festival ends on 13 December, leaving time to reposition for NYE in Bangkok or on the islands.

Practical Tips
- Hydration: December is the cool season, but dancing for hours in 30°C afternoons still dehydrates you. Drink water steadily.
- Earplugs: high-fidelity earplugs cut volume without muddying the sound. Three days is a lot for your ears.
- Phone battery: bring a power bank. Comfort (VIP) holders have charging stations.
- Cash and cards: you will need cash or a card for transport and food outside the venue. Thai ATMs charge foreign cards a fee per withdrawal, so take out larger amounts less often.
- Sun protection: afternoons are hot and sunny in December. Wear sunscreen and a hat.
- Visa: since 15 September 2026, passport holders from 60 listed countries get 30 days visa-free (Mauritius and Seychelles 15 days). Check Thailand entry requirements for the latest rules.
