Wonderfruit Festival 2026: Thailand's Arts, Music & Sustainability Festival

Wonderfruit is Thailand’s most ambitious festival — five days of live music, art installations, wellness workshops, and sustainable gastronomy set on 40 acres of farmland at The Fields at Siam Country Club, about 20 minutes south of Pattaya. Since its launch in 2014, it has become Southeast Asia’s premier arts and lifestyle festival, drawing around 25,000 attendees from over 140 countries. The 2026 edition runs 3–7 December 2026.

The music programme spans more than a dozen stages and performance spaces, ranging from international headliners and underground electronic acts to Thai indie bands and world music ensembles. Past lineups have included Bonobo, Peggy Gou, and Khruangbin alongside Thai artists like Milli and Phum Viphurit. But Wonderfruit is not purely a music festival — the art installations are genuinely impressive (many are large-scale, interactive, and designed with sustainable materials), and the food offering rivals Bangkok’s best restaurants. Guest chefs from awarded restaurants set up temporary kitchens, and the festival’s commitment to zero-waste operations extends to compostable cutlery, water refill stations, and a ban on single-use plastic.

The wellness programming includes yoga, breathwork, sound healing, meditation, and talks on sustainability, consciousness, and creative practice. These sessions typically run through the daytime hours, making for an unusual rhythm: mornings for the body and mind, late nights for the music. Attendance at wellness sessions is usually capped and fills fast — check the programme as soon as it’s released and build your schedule before you arrive.

A “Wonder Camp” offers glamping options on-site, or you can stay in Pattaya and shuttle in daily. The festival runs from late afternoon until sunrise each day, so the schedule skews nocturnal. Accommodation anywhere in the Pattaya–Jomtien corridor gets tight during festival week — budget hotels on Jomtien Beach Road offer the best value if you book a few months ahead. If you’re building a year-end festival trip, the same Pattaya area also hosts Tomorrowland in December.

Insider Tip: The art installation zone away from the main stages is most rewarding between 10 PM and 2 AM, when the interactive pieces light up and the crowds thin out from the music areas. Some of the best conversations at Wonderfruit happen around those installations, not in front of the stage.

For 2026, five-day passes ran 8,900 THB (presale) to 10,000 THB (general sale), with weekend passes 7,900–8,900 THB — the opening sale has closed, so join the official waitlist for any further releases. On-site glamping packages add 10,000–30,000 THB. The festival site is 90 minutes from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport — shuttle buses run from Bangkok and Pattaya throughout the festival. Book accommodation early if staying in nearby Pattaya or Jomtien; the festival weekend drives up demand across the whole area.

Watch out: Early-bird tickets typically go on sale in June or July — often six months before the event — and the cheapest tiers sell out within days. If you’re planning to go, set a reminder when the ticket announcement lands rather than waiting until closer to December.
