Most James Bond Island tours finish by 4pm and the day ends at a marina with a transfer back to your hotel. This one goes until dusk. The boat is a larger, better-equipped vessel with a DJ on board, Wi-Fi, paddle boards, a water slide, and — more importantly — two meals, so you stay on the water through the sunset rather than racing back in daylight.

You’re picked up from your Phuket hotel 1–2 hours before departure, which adds up to roughly 7.5 hours on the water. The itinerary works through the bay’s better-known stops at a relaxed pace. Hong Island’s sea caves come first, with kayaks launching from the boat into the enclosed lagoon — guides do the technical paddling through the narrow cave entries. Phing Kan Island, with the leaning rock pillar from the 1974 Bond film, follows. Lunch is served on deck, then there’s time for swimming, paddleboarding, or the water slide off the back of the boat. Dinner is served as the sun drops over Phang Nga Bay, which is where the tour earns its price bump over the standard speedboat options. National park fees, life jackets, kayak, and travel insurance are included; alcoholic drinks are the one thing you’ll pay for separately.

Seven and a half hours, easy difficulty, capped at 15. The kayak sections are beginner-friendly — guides steer, you sit. Pregnant travellers and anyone with cardiovascular issues should skip it. Bring sun cover for the open decks, a light layer for the evening, and a waterproof phone case for the cave shots.

Book ahead in high season; the small cap and the sunset element mean this slot fills before the daytime tours. The Hong Island caves photograph better in morning light, but the bay itself at sunset is the reason you booked this over the cheaper versions.
