Baan Kloi

Baan Kloi is a five-bedroom beachfront villa on Natai Beach in Khok Kloi, Phang Nga, about 33 km north of Phuket airport, and the first of four Baan Kloi villas on the same stretch of sand. It covers 700 square metres, sleeps 10 and comes with a manager, attendants and a private chef. Oliver’s Travels sells it in its Phuket collection, but it’s across the bridge on the Phang Nga coast, a long, quiet beach well away from Phuket’s resort strips.

Inside the villa

The house is open-plan, with floor-to-ceiling windows and mid-century-style furniture. The kitchen has an island, a long dining table and two wine fridges, and there’s a bar and barbecue for evenings outdoors. There are five bedrooms: four with king beds and one with twins. Most have their own bathroom with a rain shower, and two have bathtubs. One opens onto a terrace.

The private pool sits on a wide terrace with sun loungers, framed by coconut palms. Below it, the garden runs down to Natai Beach, about 50 m away and lined with casuarina trees. Kayaks and paddleboards are free, and the spa room offers massages on request.

The other Baan Kloi villas

Three sister villas share this stretch of Natai Beach and the same design. Baan Kloi II is a second five-bedroom house for 10, and Baan Kloi III and Baan Kloi IV are three-bedroom versions for six. If this one is taken for your dates, check those.

Insider Tip: Book the twin room for older children. It’s the only one not set up for a couple, and it keeps the four king rooms free for adults.
