This seven-to-eight-hour speedboat tour pairs the Phi Phi Leh circuit with a final stop at Khai Island — a small sandy islet closer to Phuket that’s usually skipped on the Bamboo Island variants. Meeting point is Royal Phuket Marina, Building MC3, at 9am with complimentary parking or hotel pickup by air-conditioned minivan.

The first run heads straight out to Maya Bay, the cove made famous by The Beach, with access now from the rear of the island rather than the iconic beach itself after the 2022 reopening. From there the route traces the Phi Phi Leh cliffs, stopping at Pileh Lagoon for swimming and snorkelling in the enclosed emerald inlet, then drifting past the Viking Cave (cave paintings and swallows’ nests; no landing). Loh Samah Bay and Monkey Beach follow — the macaques here are bold and have been known to help themselves to snacks, so keep bags closed. Lunch is a buffet at a beachside restaurant in Ton Sai Bay. The afternoon finishes at Khai Island for a relaxed snorkel and beach session before the return to the marina. Paddleboards are available at some stops.

The 400 THB adult / 200 THB child national park fee is paid in cash at check-in. Fins are a separate 200 THB rental at the marina. Reef-safe sunscreen is required under park rules; regular sunscreen will be refused. Good all-rounder for first-timers who want to tick Maya Bay without the longer Bamboo Island day — Khai is the easier end-of-day stop when you’re tired. Sea chops up in afternoon wind, especially in shoulder season, so motion tablets are worth bringing. Alcoholic drinks can be bought at the marina before boarding.
