Phuket 3 Khai Island Speedboat With Snorkeling (Half or Full Day)

Activity provider: VGA Vacation

Highlights

  • This is the 1st island that you will swim, snorkel and relax on
  • Khai Nui island, We'll jump off the boat to snorkel in the deeper waters
  • Also know as Cat Island, there are cat in the beach huts it is a mystery how they arrived there

The same VGA Vacation route to Khai Nai, Khai Nui and Khai Nok as the operator’s other Phuket departure, but this listing checks in at the operator’s own pier at AA Marina in Ratsada rather than a hotel-only meeting point — arrive at 4-TAC, VGA Vacation Pier, 6/27, Ratsada, Phuket 83000, by 8:50 am for the morning or full-day option, or 12:50 pm for the afternoon slot. Guides work in Thai and English.

The stops follow the same order as the operator’s sister trip: Khai Nai for a swim on the first beach, Khai Nui for a deeper snorkel among larger coral, then Khai Nok — the so-called Cat Island, where cats living in the beach huts are a known fixture. Full-day guests get roughly seven hours at Khai Nok rather than a brief stop.

Lunch, snorkelling equipment, tea, coffee, bottled water and soft drinks are included, along with air-conditioned transport to the pier. A small island entrance fee is not: 20 THB total, 10 THB each for Khai Nok and Khai Nai, paid on arrival.

Watch out: the 20 THB island entrance fee is charged on the day and is not built into the ticket price. As with the operator’s other Khai Islands listing, this one is non-refundable — the cancellation policy states all sales are final. Guests 65 and older aren’t covered by the operator’s insurance, and travellers with a mobility disability need a private boat booking rather than this shared departure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I pick the half-day or full-day Khai Islands tour?
The morning half-day tour avoids the biggest crowds. The full-day option adds a Thai lunch on Khai Nai and roughly 4 extra hours of beach time after the day-trippers leave.
Is this trip suitable for kids and non-swimmers?
Yes. The waters around Khai Nok are shallow and calm, life jackets and snorkel gear are provided, and boat rides between islands are only 20-25 minutes.
Why is Khai Nai called Cat Island?
There are cats living in the beach huts on Khai Nai, and nobody knows exactly how they got there. Feeding and photographing them is part of the stop.
What fees should I expect to pay on arrival?
A small island entrance fee of 20 THB total (10 THB each for Khai Nok and Khai Nai) is payable on the day. Pickup from Kamala or Nakalay costs an extra 100 THB per person.
