The maya bay is only open for pictures and sightseeing because it is closed to tourist attractions by the government.

Pileh Lagoon is a large natural emerald-blue lagoon surrounded by limestone rocks and crystal-clear water. It is a habitat protected by the Thai government, and swimmers and snorkelers pay an entry fee.

Monkey Beach is on the southwestern side of Tonsai Bay, about 700m from the Phi Phi Don main island. It is a 150m-long strip of white powdery sand fringed by emerald water. The back of the beach is a steep limestone cliff covered with lush vegetation, a comfortable habitat for the monkeys that give the beach its name.
