The private format means you set the pace with the captain rather than following a fixed 15-stop schedule — linger longer at Pileh Lagoon, skip Monkey Beach if the macaques aren’t your thing, or swap in a beach stop on Phi Phi Don if the conditions favour it. The route typically runs Maya Bay first (access from the back; no swimming at the beach), along the cliffs of Phi Phi Leh to the Viking Cave, then into Pileh Lagoon for paddleboarding and snorkelling inside the sheltered emerald-water inlet. Lunch on Phi Phi Don is paid locally rather than pre-booked, which gives flexibility on timing. The captain will adjust the route based on wind and sea state on the day.
The price is for the whole boat and guide rather than per person, which makes it a sensible choice for families, friends, or small groups travelling together but expensive for couples or solos. The 400 THB adult / 200 THB child national park fee is collected at check-in. Fins are a separate 200 THB rental at the marina. Reef-safe sunscreen is required under park rules (regular sunscreen is refused). Rough afternoon seas in shoulder season can cut the day short; mornings are calmer. Alcoholic drinks can be bought at the marina before boarding.
