Mork Fa waterfall is the first stop, not an afterthought. Riders arrive, relax for half an hour and cool off before the mountain bikes even come out. From there, the seven-hour route through rural Chiang Mai follows quiet back roads and small villages that see little car traffic, rated easy and pitched at riders who aren’t regular cyclists rather than a technical descent for enthusiasts.

Group size tops out at five, small enough for the guide to stop through paddy fields and village life without holding up a busload of riders. Each rider gets a Kona Blast Trail 27.5” hardtail bike plus a full protective kit: helmet (full-face on request), knee and elbow pads, gloves and a hydration pack. Lunch, snacks, bottled water and coffee or tea are included; alcohol is available to buy separately and gratuities aren’t covered.
