The Headland Villa III is a three-bedroom beachfront villa at Taling Ngam, on Koh Samui’s far west coast, facing the Five Islands and Ang Thong Marine Park across the water. It sleeps four to six, has an infinity pool with a paddling area for children, and private stairs to a white-sand beach. The airport is 30 km away.
Two pavilions across a courtyard
The bedrooms are split. One pavilion holds the master, with a king bed and walk-in shower, and a connecting twin room with an extra bunk bed, so a family with young children can sleep side by side. Across the courtyard, the second pavilion has the open-plan living and dining room, with foldaway glass doors and a fully equipped kitchen. The third bedroom, with twin beds and its own shower room, is up on a mezzanine above the living space and closes with a curtain rather than a door.
Outside are an upper terrace, sun loungers, an outdoor lounge, a barbecue and a drop-down screen for films after dark. The beach below is shared with the InterContinental resort next door.
Insider Tip: Give the mezzanine to teenagers, not grandparents. It closes with a curtain, not a door, and sits over the living room, so it’s the room that hears the late film.
