The Headland Villa IV is a three-bedroom villa set among the trees above Taling Ngam, on the quiet west coast of Koh Samui, with views over the Gulf and access to the beach below. It has a 9-metre pool, a sauna and an ice bath, and sleeps six. Breakfast is included, and the airport is 30 km away.
Main house and pool annex
The look is light and coastal, with whitewashed beams and neutral fabrics. The main house has an open-plan living room, dining space and open kitchen on the ground floor, and the master suite above with a sitting area, a balcony and a private rooftop lounge. The two other bedrooms are in an annex beside the pool, a double and a twin, both opening straight onto the terrace.
Outside, palms and daybeds frame the pool, which has a shallow area for children. The sauna and cold plunge sit alongside, and an ocean-facing terrace with a barbecue gets the sunset.
Insider Tip: Stay five nights or more. That unlocks a free return airport transfer, which on a 30 km run across the island is worth having.
