Bang Pu Tourism Community
The community is situated in a mangrove forest at the mouth of Pattani Bay, into which canals such as Klong Kor, Klong Kue-Ngo, and Klong Bang Pu flow. The area is abundant with various plant species, including mangroves, Samae Dam, Lamphu Thale, and Pho Thale. A major attraction of the community is the boat trips that offer a chance to explore the mangrove forests and witness the natural beauty of the surroundings. The boat tours, which last approximately two hours, are available throughout the year. During the cruise, visitors may encounter mangrove trees bending toward each other, forming a natural mangrove tunnel that stretches around 700 metres. The route also provides opportunities to observe various water birds and enjoy the dramatic scenery of Pattani Bay. The community also runs evening firefly trips to a small island in the bay, on moonless nights or as overnight trips. For further details contact, Tel. (66)8 1805 8761 or (66)8 6491 2556
