Dan Kwian Lime Grove

Dan Kwian Lime Grove is a working lime farm of about 30 rai near Dan Kwian, in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Chok Chai district. It’s a genuine commercial orchard rather than a developed tourist attraction — the visitor side is low-key and run by the owner, and it mostly hosts organised study groups and travellers with a real interest in Thai agriculture rather than casual day-trippers.

A visit centres on a walk through the rows of lime trees while the owner explains how the crop is grown, from seedling to harvest. Fresh limes, bottled lime juice and young seedlings are usually for sale on site, and there’s no admission charge. Don’t expect the self-pick areas, pavilions or café found at larger agritourism parks — the appeal here is the orchard itself and a knowledgeable grower happy to talk it through.

The farm sits on the Korat–Chok Chai side of Dan Kwian and is easiest to reach by car or motorbike. It pairs naturally with the nearby Dan Kwian pottery village — Dan Kwian’s much better-known draw, and the reason most visitors are in the area in the first place. The two are easy to confuse by name alone, but they’re separate stops: one a centuries-old pottery-making community, the other a working citrus farm a short drive further out.
