Museum of Ang Thong Legend occupies the former Provincial Administrative Organization office in Bang Kaeo subdistrict and tells the province’s story across nine multimedia rooms rather than static display cases. The sequence opens with “The Legend of Ang Thong City” and moves through rooms themed on the province’s historical eras, royal connections and local heroes, before closing with “Pride of Local Products” and a room on what makes Ang Thong’s “golden land” identity distinct within central Thailand today.

The multimedia format — video, lighting and sound cues built into each room — is the point of difference from a conventional provincial museum; it’s designed as a walk-through experience rather than a collection to browse at your own pace. A retail corner near the entrance sells community-made products from around Ang Thong, so it doubles as a place to pick up something local on the way out.
