Phrom Lok Waterfall

Phrom Lok Waterfall in Khao Luang National Park cascades across a wide stone terrace over approximately 50 levels, but only 4 levels are open for tourists: Nan Wang Nam Won, Nam Wang Mai Pak, Nan Wang Hua Bua, and Nan Wang Ai Le. In 1959, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother visited this waterfall and inscribed their royal initials “Pho. Po. Ro.” and “So. Ko.” on the cliff at the Waterfall of Level 1 (Nan Wang Nam Won).

What to Expect

This waterfall cascades through forest terrain, often with multiple tiers and natural pools for swimming. Water flow varies dramatically by season — strongest during and after the rainy season (September-November), potentially dry during peak summer (March-April). The trail to the falls passes through shaded forest.
