Thai Country Club

Thai Country Club (Thai: ไทยคันทรีคลับ) is an 18-hole championship club on the Bangna–Trad corridor in Bangpakong, Chachoengsao, marketed as a Bangkok-outskirts / Bangkok–Pattaya option, not a course “in the capital city” and not in Minburi. The club site publishes a visitor fee table by season and describes premier golf with clubhouse facilities. Because published bands can change, re-confirm when you book and clarify what is included (green fee vs caddie / cart / tax). Course, history, and service notes

Directories commonly credit designer Denis Griffiths and a mid-1990s opening. Tournament pedigree is part of the club’s reputation, including Tiger Woods’s win at the 1997 Asian Honda Classic and other Asian Tour-era events cited in golf press.

Helipad and VIP transfer talk appears in secondary marketing. Useful for some guests. Irrelevant for a normal taxi day trip from Suvarnabhumi.

Expect a full clubhouse product: locker rooms, dining, and practice areas are part of why visitors pay championship corridor prices. Ask the starter about pace-of-play expectations on busy weekdays; Bangna–Trad traffic means late arrivals cascade onto the tee sheet. Compared with floodlit Pathum Thani options like Bangkok Golf Club, TCC is a daylight corridor round, not a night-golf product.

Visitor access and the official fee bands

Visitor play is real, but it is not casual public walk-up. The official rate table (as published on thaicountryclub.com, reconfirm before you pay) lists:

• Low season (April–October): weekdays 5,100 THB; weekends & public holidays 6,100 THB afternoon only
• High season (November–March): weekdays 6,000 THB; weekends & public holidays 7,500 THB afternoon only

Ask whether those bands include caddie, cart, and tax. If you need a morning tee on Saturday or Sunday, ask early or plan a weekday round.

Insider Tip: Weekend visitor slots are afternoon-only on the official table. Weekday mornings from a Suvarnabhumi hotel are the cleanest logistics for most visitors.

Watch out: Older travel copy sometimes places TCC in “Bangkok” or even Minburi shorthand. Use the Chachoengsao Bangpakong address for taxis and maps. Compare access honestly with members-oriented clubs like Alpine Golf & Sports Club and private Royal Bangkok Sports Club.

Getting there and nearby
