Ao Thalane’s sheltered mangrove channels open up to wide-angle sunset views over Krabi’s karst coastline, and this five-hour kayak trip puts you right at water level for the whole show. A local guide leads you through the root-tangled mangroves, pointing out mudskippers, monitor lizards, and kingfishers along the way. Groups are capped at 20 paddlers to keep the channels quiet, and private tours are also available. After paddling, settle in for a BBQ dinner of chicken, seafood, and vegetables (vegetarian meals available by request at booking). Waterproof bags and life jackets are provided, so charge up your phone and bring it along for the golden-hour shots.

The scenery wildlife and the natural beauty is second to none, now add some of the most stunning sunsets. You will be guided through this awesome journey by one of our local professionals, and supplied with the knowledge and understanding of the mangrove to make this a truly unique experience. We keep these trips to a maximum of ten paddlers per group to insure you are able to relax and enjoy. How ever private tours are also available. Our BBQ dinner is one you won’t forget, offering chicken, seafood, and vegetables. By special request upon booking vegetarian meals are available. Waterproof bags will be provided for you to keep your personal items dry along with life jackets.
