An 8-hour afternoon-into-evening run through Phang Nga Bay that adds a stop at James Bond Island — Koh Ta-pu, the limestone pinnacle from The Man with the Golden Gun — to the usual hong-and-plankton route. Canoes at Phanak Island and Hong Island are paddled by the crew’s own paddlers, so no kayaking skill or experience is needed. After the island stops, the group has dinner at Jaja Restaurant on Panyee Island before heading back out after dark to canoe into the caves again and watch for bioluminescent plankton — tiny organisms that glow blue-green when the water is disturbed. The operator notes that visibility depends on water and weather conditions and won’t always match photos.

With its signature rocky pinnacle, the entire area surrounding this island is indeed spectacular.
