Entry Free

Cyber Waterfall — also called Namtok Hin Lat — lies in Huai Khot district, Uthai Thani, on streams running down from the Huai Kha Khaeng hills. The unusual English name comes from the nearby village of Ban Cyber (ไซเบอร์); the lower falls, where the water spreads over broad flat rock, give it the second name Hin Lat, meaning “flat stone”.

The waterfall drops in several stages through forest, the upper section known as Namtok Loi Choi before the flow reaches the wide rock shelves below. It is a medium-sized fall rather than a dramatic one, and water levels swing with the season — fullest from September into early November and much thinner in the dry months.

Because it sits within the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage area, access is controlled. Visitors have historically needed permission from the sanctuary’s management, and the site was closed to the public following a fatal accident. Anyone planning a visit should check the current status with the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary office beforehand rather than turning up unannounced.

The falls are around 86 km from Uthai Thani town along roads through Huai Khot, deep on the western edge of the province. Basic accommodation exists for permit-holding visitors but there is no food service, so bring your own supplies. Treat the rocks as slippery and the water as variable, and follow any guidance from sanctuary staff.
