Namtok Tat Dao
น้ำตกตาดดาว
Also known as: Tat Dao Waterfall
Namtok Tat Dao lies a little beyond the entrance of Tham Kret Dao cave, in Ban Rai district. The waterfall flows over rock in a series of levels through shady forest — counts of its tiers vary, and it is a small-to-medium fall rather than a major landmark.
What to Expect
This waterfall cascades through forest terrain, often with multiple tiers and natural pools for swimming. Water flow varies dramatically by season — strongest during and after the rainy season (September-November), potentially dry during peak summer (March-April). The trail to the falls passes through shaded forest.
