Giant tree

ต้นไม้ยักษ์

Uthai Thani Reviewed Jun 2026
Entry Free

The colossal tree, set in Ban Rai Subdistrict, is a Xiangyong tree aged over 400 years. It stands proudly amidst Areca palm (Areca catechu L.), embraced by the remarkable beauty of the surrounding foliage. What sets this giant tree apart is its supple wood, with roots extending outwards to support the trunk. If measured by using people’s spreading their arms to encircle the tree, it will take approximately 40 people. Prior to reaching the giant tree, travelers can explore the Market, a quaint marketplace offering locally-made goods such as traditional garments, assorted wicker products, along with Thai delicacies and dried herbs perfect for brewing herbal tea.
