IMPACT Speed Park is an outdoor go-kart circuit inside the IMPACT Muang Thong Thani complex in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi — an 800-metre track, extendable to 907 metres for bigger events, running a fleet of electric Sodi RTX karts alongside gasoline and two-seat 2DRIVE karts. Getting into the venue costs nothing; you pay per session, with adult electric-kart runs typically around 650 THB and kids’ sessions around 420 THB (rates are subject to change, so check the current price board before committing to a package).

The electric karts are the main draw: near-silent, instant torque off the line, and none of the exhaust fumes that come with the gasoline fleet. Because it’s an open-air circuit rather than the indoor hall the venue is sometimes mistaken for, afternoon downpours during the rainy season can bring sessions to a temporary halt — factor that into a wet-season visit. Timing boards track lap times for anyone chasing a personal best, and the layout mixes tighter technical sections with a longer straight where the electric karts show what they can do.

Weekday hours only start at 14:00, which makes this an after-work or evening outing during the week; weekends and public holidays open at 10:00, drawing families and groups earlier in the day. Junior karts require a minimum age of 7 and a height of 130 cm — shorter kids can still ride along as a passenger in a 2DRIVE two-seater with a parent driving. Corporate groups book the track for team days, and the venue can get busy on weekend mornings, so turning up right at opening or later in the evening tends to mean less of a wait.

IMPACT itself is one of Southeast Asia’s largest exhibition and convention complexes, so a karting session slots easily into a bigger day out — the surrounding halls host trade fairs, concerts and expos most weekends, with food courts and cafés scattered through the complex if you need to refuel before or after a session. Closed-toe shoes are compulsory on the track, and staff run a short briefing before your first session regardless of experience level.
