Bangkok Tuk Tuk Food Tour By Night

An open-sided tuk-tuk carries a group of up to 15 between four food stops across Bangkok, running 5pm to 9pm — about four hours door to door. Each stop pairs one neighbourhood with one dish: an appetiser at a local restaurant to start, a northern Thai dish at a second restaurant, a home-style main in Yaowarat — Bangkok’s Chinatown — and dessert to finish in the old town.

A licensed guide rides along for the whole route, and the price covers the tuk-tuk itself, all fees and taxes, the food at each stop, and a bottle of water. Alcohol isn’t included, so budget separately for a beer with dinner, and there’s no hotel pickup — you’ll need to reach the meeting point under your own steam.

Meet outside Hua Lamphong Railway Station, also called Bangkok Train Station, at MRT Hua Lamphong Exit 2 — look for the guide waiting there ahead of the 5pm start.

Watch out: Alcoholic drinks and hotel pickup are both excluded from the $72 price — factor in your own transport to Hua Lamphong and a separate budget for beer or wine with dinner.
