Krabi 7 Island Sunset & BBQ Dinner (Join Tour)
Highlights
- 7 islands by traditional Thai longtail
- BBQ dinner at sunset
- Reduced passenger load for extra space
- Snorkelling gear and life vests included
- Complimentary shuttle for Ao Nang hotels
This Ao Nang join tour runs a traditional Thai longtail boat rather than a speedboat, and caps passengers at 85-90% of legal capacity — a deliberate trade-off against the fully loaded boats common on other Krabi island-hopping trips. It departs earlier than most competing tours but returns around the same time, roughly 7:30-8pm, so the extra time buys more at each of the seven stops rather than a shorter day.
The route runs from Ao Nam Mao Pier past Phra Nang Beach on the Railay Peninsula — the boat lands and walks in when tide and weather allow, or noses in for photos only when conditions rule that out — through two snorkelling sites, a stop at Secret Beach on Koh Poda, and a sandbar that surfaces at low tide, briefly linking two islands until the water rises again. A beachside BBQ dinner comes at sunset, followed after dark by a stop to view bioluminescent plankton, a detail most Krabi 7-island tours skip.
Fruit, bottled water, snorkel gear, life vests, insurance, the BBQ dinner and a shuttle from Ao Nang hotels are included. The 200 THB national park entrance fee isn’t, and is paid separately on the day. Snorkelling site choices shift with conditions — the operator substitutes nearby spots, or cancels snorkelling outright during jellyfish season, at the guide’s discretion.

Watch out: The boat may not be able to dock at Phra Nang Beach depending on tide and weather — when that happens, it’s a photo pass from the water instead of a landing.
