PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Koh Tao: Half-Day, Two Dives

Two guided dives under a PADI instructor around Koh Nang Yuan, no prior experience required. Six hours total including kit-up, briefing and surface time between dives.

The morning starts with a land-based briefing covering how the equipment works, hand signals, and the basic skills you’ll practise in shallow water (mask clearing, regulator recovery). You then head out to the dive sites around Koh Nang Yuan, the three-island sandbar just off Koh Tao’s north-west coast, where gentle sloping reefs make it an ideal beginner setting. Each dive runs around 30 minutes under direct instructor supervision, with coral reef, reef fish and the occasional turtle on the list of what you might see. No certification or swim-test here, so this is strictly an introduction, not a course.
