The 10 Tastings of Bangkok: Private Street Food Tour

This private route through Bangkok’s Ari neighbourhood works through 10 tastings across six stops, starting at Ari BTS Station Exit 4, in front of Villa Market, where the guide meets guests by Kanom Cafe. The food runs savoury to sweet: yam pak salad finished with fish sauce, Thai fish cakes and banana fritters from local vendors, then a fresh fruit zone before satay, pad thai and a curry balancing heat and sweetness, paired with a juice of the guest’s choice from coconut, guava, watermelon or mango. Mango sticky rice and a stop at a farmers’ fair zone follow, and the tour closes with organic coffee and the guide’s own recommendations for the rest of the Bangkok trip. One stop is at a market of small local producers selling fresh, organic food, running since 2013.

The tour is private for one party of up to 8, run through Withlocals in Thai or English, with vegetarian alternatives available if flagged when booking. Hotel pickup and drop-off aren’t included, so the Ari BTS meeting point is fixed.
