Nai Thon is a compact west-facing beach on Phuket’s north coast, sitting between Nai Yang and Bang Tao. It is smaller and less developed than Bang Tao’s long lagoon strip, and more intimate than Mai Khao’s endless sand. Airport proximity is the practical advantage; the trade-off is thinner dining and nightlife outside the resorts.

Day trips are easy: Sirinat / Nai Yang to the north, Bang Tao and Laguna to the south, or a scooter loop into Phuket Town if you want markets and Sino-Portuguese streets. Boat trips to the outer islands usually mean transfers toward Chalong or other piers. Nai Thon is not a major departure hub.
