Villa Malai is a four-bedroom villa for eight adults, built on three levels with a home cinema, a gym and two terrace Jacuzzis. The estate sits above Choeng Mon on Koh Samui’s north-east tip, with the beach 900 m away and the airport 4 km.

All four bedrooms have king beds and en-suite showers. Two are on the lower ground floor beside a lounge. The other two are on the first floor, and these are the ones with private terraces and an outdoor Jacuzzi each. The gym is up there as well.
On the ground floor the kitchen opens to a sunken lounge and the home cinema, and the dining area seats eight. Outside, a sun terrace with a barbecue runs along an infinity pool. Speakers sit under the water as well as in the house, and there is a yoga pavilion for quieter mornings.
The estate covers the basics. A villa manager runs the house, free transfers collect you from the airport, and daily housekeeping keeps it tidy.
Insider Tip: The first-floor bedrooms carry the Jacuzzis, so decide early who gets them. Two couples sharing should take those, and the lower-floor pair suits children or anyone who prefers to be near the lounge.
