Villa Phueng is a five-bedroom villa for ten on the hillside above Choeng Mon, built around an L-shaped infinity pool. A cinema with six sofa-beds, a gym and a badminton court give it more to do than most five-bedroom houses. The airport is 4 km away and the beach 900 m.
Three levels around an L-shaped pool
Each of the five bedrooms has a king bed, a terrace and an en-suite rain shower, with bathtubs in the two first-floor rooms. One bedroom is on the lower ground floor and one is on the ground floor, beside the open-plan living room, a TV lounge, a wet bar and a dining area.
The lower ground floor is the games level. It holds the private cinema, the fitness area, a games room with table tennis and table football, a wine store and a powder room. A sala by the pool has a barbecue, and the first floor adds planted and pond roofs.
At the estate level, you get a villa manager, daily housekeeping and a floodlit tennis court if badminton is not enough.
Insider Tip: The two bathtub bedrooms are on the first floor, away from the games level, so give those to the adults who go to bed early. Teenagers will want the lower ground bedroom beside the cinema.
