Villa Fern is a four-bedroom villa for eight on the coastal cliffs of the Samujana estate. It has a minimalist interior, a slate-tiled saltwater infinity pool and a roof deck for sunset drinks. Choeng Mon Beach is about 900 m from Villa Fern, and the airport only 4 km.
Slate, glass and a roof deck
The open-plan living area runs straight out to the pool, and next to it sits a glass-walled TV lounge with a home theatre system. A dining area for eight and a kitchen with a breakfast bar complete the ground floor.
Two bedrooms are on the lower ground floor, each with a king bed, a terrace and a bathtub. The master upstairs has its own terrace and bathtub, and the fourth bedroom, also upstairs, has a terrace and a shower. The roof deck and garden are set apart from the living areas.
The villa has no gym or games room, so it is a quieter house than some on the estate. Standard estate extras still apply, from the shuttle to Central Festival to the use of the floodlit tennis court.
Insider Tip: Give the upstairs bedrooms, which have private terraces, to the couples who want the most privacy. The lower-ground pair, with a bathtub each, suit friends or children.
