Villa Khun Mae is a five-bedroom villa for 10 on the hill at Samujana, with a 3D home cinema and a Technogym Kinesis Wall in the gym. All five bedrooms are kings, each with a terrace and a bathtub. Khun Mae is 4 km from the airport; Choeng Mon Beach is around 900 m away.
Five king bedrooms on one floor
The bedrooms are together on the lower ground floor, next to the fitness area, with a king bed, a terrace and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and rain shower in each. Upstairs on the ground floor are the living room, a dining area for 10, the kitchen and the cinema.
The cinema has a 3D projector and six sofa-beds to sprawl on. In the gym there is a treadmill alongside the Kinesis Wall. Outside, a saltwater infinity pool sits among water features, with a patio, garden and covered terrace to eat on.
All five bedrooms are the same size of bed and each has a terrace and a bathtub, so five couples get like-for-like rooms. A private chef can be booked by the meal through the villa manager.
Insider Tip: Book the chef for a cinema night. Dinner by the pool, then the sofa-beds, means nobody leaves the villa after dark.

Five couples, or families with older children, will use it best. Villa Anong sleeps 10 too, on the rocks, with a bunk room for younger children. Villa Fern is the smaller option for eight.
