Krabi budget stays split three ways before you open Booking. Ao Nang is the walkable hub for restaurants and island boats. Krabi Town is cheaper and more local if beaches can be transfers. Railay is boat-access only — cliffs and isolation with luggage tradeoffs. Koh Lanta is a separate ferry decision, not the default mainland shortlist.

We prioritised Ao Nang, Krabi Town and Railay properties with booking links in the mid-cheap band, then added at most two Koh Lanta stays in their own subsection so this does not become a Lanta article.
