Walk Takua Pa Old Town — five streets of shophouses, street art, and (in season) the Sunday walking market. Cross Saphan Lek Khok Khanun (also known as the Boon Soong iron bridge), still used by locals over the Takua Pa River. For tsunami history on the same district coast, continue west to Ban Nam Khem Tsunami Memorial Park and the indoor Ban Nam Khem Tsunami Museum (museum often closed Mon–Tue — confirm before you go).
