One Yoga runs this 300-hour certification as a six-week arc rather than a condensed intensive: 35 teaching days spread across 42 days, with Sundays off and a week-long silent retreat built into the schedule. Class size caps at 26 students, and the Koh Phangan campus is a private beachfront resort with an ocean-facing yoga shala.

The curriculum runs through Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin and Tantra, alongside pranayama, mudra work, anatomy and physiology, and teaching methodology. An exam is required before Yoga Alliance certification is issued — this is assessed, not a participation certificate. Graduates receive a Yoga Alliance-accredited 300-hour credential, a graduation ceremony, and 30 days of free access to One Yoga’s online studio afterward.

Breakfast and lunch buffets (vegan or vegetarian) are provided on the 35 teaching days; dinner is not included on any day, and no meals are provided on the Sunday days off. Accommodation runs 41 nights in air-conditioned rooms, with private and shared options available, and mats and props supplied for every session.

Getting there means flying into Koh Samui, taking the roughly 30-minute ferry to Koh Phangan, then a taxi from Thong Sala pier — the school doesn’t run its own airport or pier transfer, and taxi fares to campus aren’t included in the price.

A welcome meeting and group dinner mark arrival day, and course extras run to a course manual, a graduation ceremony, a One Yoga t-shirt and tote bag, and the option to inquire about extended practicum or volunteer placements after graduating. Dietary options cover vegetarian and vegan; there’s no separate raw-food menu.

Watch out: dinner is excluded on every day of the 42-day course, not just Sundays — over six weeks that’s a real recurring cost on top of the $3,299 course fee, so factor it into the total budget rather than the sticker price alone.

Insider Tip: according to the school, most participants arrive as solo travelers, and Thailand is described as a safe country to do that in — useful reassurance if going alone is what’s holding you back from booking.
