Eagle Track Zipline

Eagle Track Zipline is a treetop adventure course in Mae Rim, about 30 minutes north of central Chiang Mai. It runs three package tiers — Bronze (1,200 THB, 15 platforms, 7 ziplines, one abseil, roughly an hour), Silver (1,600 THB, 20 platforms, 9 ziplines, two abseils, around two hours), and Gold (1,990 THB, 35 platforms, 16 ziplines, three abseils plus two sky bridges, around three hours). All three include a guide, safety gear, water, and a t-shirt and certificate; the Gold package adds lunch.

Guides clip you in at each platform and walk you through the line before you go, so the pace is set by the group rather than rushed. Between zipline runs, sky bridges and short forest walkways give a slower look at the canopy — dense enough here that direct sun rarely reaches the ground. Shorter, gentler runs come first on all three packages, building up to the longer spans later in the course.

Insider Tip: Book the Bronze or Silver package if you’re short on time or nervous about heights — the extra platforms on Gold add length more than they add new scenery, and three hours in a harness is a long stretch for first-timers.

Watch out: package inclusions and hotel-transfer terms vary between the operator’s own site and third-party resellers like Viator or Trazy — check exactly what’s bundled (transfer, lunch, insurance) before paying, since prices quoted by resellers sometimes differ from the operator’s own rates.

Closed-toe shoes are required and clothing should allow free movement — shorts are fine, but skirts and loose scarves aren’t practical on the harness. Cooler morning starts mean less sweating in the humidity, though the forest canopy keeps temperatures manageable most of the day regardless of when you go.
