Car lovers and curious travellers alike will find themselves captivated by this extraordinary private collection of over 500 vintage and classic vehicles. The Jesada Technik Museum is Thailand’s largest automotive museum, assembled by Thai businessman Jesada Dejsakulrit who began collecting in 1997 and opened the museum to the public in 2007. The collection spans land, air, and everything in between — from rare sports cars and classic European marques to tuk-tuks, three-wheelers, and London double-decker buses.

Walking through the vast warehouse-style halls, you’ll encounter rows of meticulously maintained vehicles: Citroën 2CVs in every colour, a DeLorean DMC-12, classic Peugeots, Cadillacs, Volkswagens, and an amphibious car sit alongside vintage motorcycles and bicycles. An early 20th-century locomotive and several aircraft — including a helicopter and a few military planes — add to the breadth of the collection, though the heart of the museum is undeniably its extraordinary catalogue of automobiles. A large section is dedicated to mini-cars and three-wheeled vehicles, showcasing a fascinating niche of motoring history that is rarely seen elsewhere.

This isn’t your typical museum experience — there’s a workshop-like energy that reflects the owner’s ongoing passion for collecting and restoration. You might catch vehicles being maintained or repositioned, adding a living quality to your visit. The collection is so vast that even repeat visitors discover something new, whether a quirky three-wheeler tucked behind a row of Cadillacs or a rare European marque they’ve never encountered before.

Plan for at least two hours to fully appreciate the collection, though motoring enthusiasts could easily spend half a day exploring. Getting there requires private transport or taxi as public transportation options are limited. Photography is generally permitted throughout the facility. Free admission makes this an exceptional value for anyone curious about automotive history, unusual vehicles, or the breadth of human ingenuity on wheels.
