Prapassara Vineyard — known locally as Paphatsara Grape Garden, after the Thai actress who owns it — is a working agritourism farm in Wang Muang district, Saraburi, growing three seedless grape varieties across two hillsides. Entry is free, open daily 10:00-22:00, on more than 1,000 rai of land that also carries an ostrich enclosure, a horse-breeding operation and seasonal sunflower fields.

The vines themselves are the draw for most visitors: Black King (black), Lupelle (green) and Caviar (a small dark grape) grow in rows across the sloped ground, with the farm’s own shop selling grape juice, grape pie and grape jelly made from the harvest. Beyond the vineyard, the wider property runs more like a countryside day farm than a single-crop estate — an ostrich pen sits near the entrance, and the horse operation stretches over a separate section of the hillside, both drawing as many visitors as the grapes do.

Insider Tip: Go in the late afternoon rather than midday — the hillsides have little shade, and the light softens for photos of the vine rows in the hour or two before sunset.

Activities lean toward farm rather than formal-garden territory: a walking trail loops the property, mountain biking is possible along the hillside tracks, and horseback riding is on offer through the farm’s own stables. Watch out: this isn’t the manicured, boutique-winery experience some listings suggest — it’s a working farm with dust, animal pens and uneven ground, better suited to a casual half-day than a polished wine-tasting itinerary. Address is 189 Moo 1, Muak Lek-Wang Muang Road, Tambon Salaeng Phan, near the district town of Wang Muang.

The drive out here is part of the appeal: Wang Muang sits along the same corridor that feeds Saraburi and Nakhon Ratchasima’s better-known wine country further east, roughly 2.5-3 hours from Bangkok by car. Pair it with Khun Malee Vineyard, the Sunflower Fields and The Tree Tunnel — all a short drive apart in the same corner of Saraburi — for a full day of countryside stops rather than a single vineyard visit.
